How to reach the port of Piombino
By Bus
From Milan and Florence, it is possible to reach the Island of Elba with a very comfortable bus that makes no intermediate stops and arrives directly at Piombino Marittima port in front of the ferry embarkation.
The bus company departing from Milan is called Arzillibus, and their website is www.arzillibus.it.
From Florence, buses from the Tiemme company depart: www.tiemmespa.it.
By Train
If you decide to reach the island of Elba by train, remember that the arrival station is Piombino Marittima, not Piombino. The station is located at the port of Piombino, right next to the ferry ticket office and in front of the ship embarkation.

By Plane
From G. Galilei Airport in Pisa, it is possible to reach the port of Piombino in about 1 hour by renting a car or taking a train.
The same from Rome’s Fiumicino Airport in about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
