Our cuisine is simple, genuine and tasty, with many dishes from the Tuscan tradition, including both meat and fish.
A vast variety of sweet and savoury items are available at breakfast. All the cakes, sponges and biscuits are strictly home made. Coffee and cappuccino are made with an espresso machine and served at table.
At lunch and dinner there is a choice of three pasta/rice and three main courses, with both meat and fish.
Our keynote dishes are caserecce pasta with crab, black spaghettoni with swordfish, "penne in barca all'elbana", chickpea and clam soup, Tyrrhenian cuttlefish "zimino", traditional Elban "schiaccia ubriaca" cake, cantucci biscuits and all the delicious confectionery made by our pastry chef Marcella. It is outstanding.
We have selected local wines sourced from small cellars that safeguard the environment and share our values.
For guests who decide not to return to the hotel for lunch but prefer to soak up all the sun and sea they can, we prepare tasty, eco-friendly packed lunches to be picked up in the morning after breakfast. You can choose from the dish of the day (such as pasta salad, vitello tonnato, dry-cured ham and melon and other dishes), a flatbread with your filling of choice or a tasty fresh salad made with your chosen ingredients.
Gluten free, milk free, egg free or simply vegetarian. Even if you omit something from your diet, you are sure to find all the flavour you deserve.
During your stay we will provide your breakfast of choice and you can confer with our maitre to choose the right lunch or dinner menu for your diet.
